Pendulum Baby Cradle in Birch

This family heirloom, was created from a birch log being saved in the shop 'for something special'. Built to be knocked down, it uses traditional and modern techniques. Carved highlights on tops of uprights. Complete with a storage crate, accepts a standard cradle mattress.

Hand carved Chess Set

This chess set is crafted in walnut and maple. The set features an inlaid board ( 2" squares ), with drawers to store chessmen ( 3-1/2 tall), including the extra pawns for playing 'checkers'.

Large Oak Cabinet with Curved Front doors

This large oak cabinet has a curved glass door; stands 6' tall 4' wide and 2' front to back. The 1/4" thick glass in the door was a near 1/4 circle; 24" around the arc and 36" high. Shelves are glass, supported on an oak frame. Two lights illuminate the interior, base has 2 shelves either side the door. The Fretwork in the main window was copied from a ceremonial chair, and the side patterns copied from the Baptismal Font. Cabinet built in two sections.

Lighted Oak Cabinet

This oak cabinet has a gothic arch in the door and sides, stands 4' tall and 18" x 18" overall. Shelves are glass, cabinet has a light inside and a drawer under. Built in two pieces.

Mahogany Raised-panel Fireplace Mantle

This mahogany fireplace mantle measures 6' wide x over 4' tall. The straight lines and raised panels reflect the formal atmosphere of the room, the slight arch over the opening was 'borrowed' from a display case present.

Glass Front Display Case

This pine & glass display case was a request from a lady who retails jewelry at craft markets. Case is 24"x 36" x 4" deep overall; a piano hinge and hasp fastens door to case.

Snoozy Bear Letter-Box

Featured here is one of our favorite projects, a special letter box for a young lady. This one is done in cherry, and walnut, and has striping and a mahogany bear outlined in walnut.
